Tap the lock icon (top right of the Home screen) or Settings → Parent settings, then enter your parent PIN. The first time, you’ll be asked to create one.
For security the PIN cannot be recovered. Delete and reinstall the app to start over (this also removes profiles and watch history).
KidsTube layers several safeguards: the channel allowlist, the profile’s age setting, a built-in safety filter, and your custom keyword filters. Raising the profile age (Parent dashboard → child → age) or removing a matching keyword (Parent dashboard → Filters) usually brings it back.
In Strict mode children only see videos from channels you approved — search and discovery are disabled. Flexible mode adds filtered search, and kids can request a channel, which appears in your Requests inbox for approval.
A session or daily screen-time limit was reached, or it’s outside the allowed hours you configured. You can adjust limits in the parent dashboard.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or use “Restore Purchases” on the KidsTube paywall after reinstalling. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
